José Viña


Dr Jose Viña is a professor of physiology at University of Valencia. PhD in 1976, he is also an honorary doctor by University of Rennes and University of Buenos Aires. Jose started his biomedicine research at the Medical Research Congress at University of Oxford, led by Nobel Prize Hans Krebs. Jose has published over 330 international white papers and received honors such as the Albert Struyvenberg medal, granted by the European Society of Clinical Investigation in 2017, for his research in Longevity and Exercise. He wrote the book: "Take care of yourself today so your loved ones dont take care of you tomorrow: How to age better" (2009). Dr. Viña is specialized in nutrition, exercise and his application in healthy longevity. He currently leads a successful research group for longevity, nutrition, frailty and alzheimer.
